Marie-Soleil Le Houillier, Board Member
Marie-Soleil has a B.A. in public communications. She chose this specialty from the desire to flawlessly voice the causes close to her heart. She firmly believes that a precise message is an essential marshalling tool in order to make the world a better place. Marie-Soleil worked for more than a year at the Canadian Cancer Society and volunteered in many environmental and humanitarian causes. With a minor in Entrepreneurship, she became a project manager. She is currently employed by Talk Marketing Agency as such, while pursuing her graduate studies in International Development and Humanitarian Action Management.
She elected to get involved with WCE in the wake of a life-altering undertaking following her graduation. She volunteered for a month in Botswana. Right there and then, she fell in love with Africa, its people, its wilderness. She was moved by their innate sense of community. In that moment, she knew her world perspective was forever changed.
